You are really an amazing listener.
As I was about to sleep last night … okay okay that was
almost morning, dawn to be exact, I prayed like any other regular night I would
say thank you for everything that you have shared with me.
But this time I added some and told you about my concerns
and fears. I asked for guidance as I am, again, doubting my abilities and the
chance to find a good paying job. I fear that because of repeated wrong
decisions, I have lost my opportunity. I told you a lot more other things and
even asked for a sign.
This afternoon while watching a game on television I got
bored, so I went out to smoke and browse my web accounts. Yes, you got it right
– accounts, not bank accounts, but social media accounts because I have facebook,
twitter, blog and wattpad. And my biggest smile of the day came from a simple
message from my wattpad notification. It says “this is good. keep it up J” so
I immediately punched the letters on my cellphone and replied happily.
Wondering perhaps why a short and simple message like that
suddenly made me feel so elated?
It is because God sent someone to remind and tell me not to
worry, that I am good at what I do at the moment. I was simply told that I
don’t need a hundred likes to know I am good more than what I thought of
myself.
And he said that using someone I admire. Someone I thought
was better than me and someone much younger than I am. So, isn’t that something
I should thank for?
SMILE and please keep that always. If you think LIFE is not
good because you are going through something, offer it to him. Be vocal about
your concerns and issues. Just talk to him.
I was only asking for an affirmation when I talked to him
and asked him to give me a sign that something good is still coming my way and
he responded swiftly and the sweetest way.
So cheer up God is good. And LIFE is beautiful :D
